The first hour was taken by Maya ma'am.She began the class with some "Nellikai "stories.How nellikai is an important part of our culture. The nutritious values it holds to the funny yet sensible proverbs the talk went for a while.After that remaining seminar we're conducted.Then Video arousing patriotic feeling was being played. A spontaneous "Bharathmada ki jai" from someone at back completed the scenario.Next hour Principal sir came in and continued Skill of Explaining Sir elaborated on the subskill Illustration.The modes of illustration, inductive and deductive former being elaborating the concept followed by giving examples and later being giving examples first followed by drawing conclusions.An effective Teacher is who can ease the difficulty of the learner.Sir then mentioned about student generated hypothesis which is induced thinking.Then we moved on to the next subskill of experimentation or demonstration and at last sir taught us the subskill of chalkboard writing.How we should divide the blackboard into 3 columns (imaginary columns) right side should be used for noting the new terms middle for graphics and figures extreme left for working out problems or activities.Sir also mentioned about the book "Educational Technology" by sampath were using of black board is dealt in detail.Afternoon session was Optional hour in which we did our remaining seminar and other works after which we gathered for our art's day preparations.
